The music video for 'Mama Said (What are you trying to become?)' visualizes the message, 'I don't care about the obvious nagging and I'm going my own way.' The scenes of them enjoying the free world without worrying about what others think, such as blowing a hamburger with a big swing or making a bird out of a tree in the garden, convey a sense of freshness. The relaxed performance on top of the brisk rhythm and energetic sound is calling for repeat playback.
Meanwhile, the group name 'kickflip' refers to the high-difficulty technical term of spinning the board 360 degrees with the tip of the foot. Gye-hoon, Amaru, Dong-hwa, Joo-wang, Min-je, Kei-ju, and Dong-hyun are growing their position as 'K-pop super rookies' with the bold ambition to be unconstrained by the past and to make new activities, just like turning the board once and moving forward.
