YG, K-pop gem discovery... 2025 nationwide tour audition held

YG Entertainment is embarking on a large-scale nationwide audition tour to discover the next generation of talent who will lead the future of K-pop.



YG Entertainment announced on the 21st that it will hold the '2025 YG NATIONAL AUDITION TOUR' from February 7th to February 23rd. The auditions will be held in 6 cities for a total of 7 times, starting in Gwangju on February 7th, followed by Daejeon on February 8th, Jeonju on February 9th, Daegu on February 15th, Busan on February 16th, and Seoul on February 22nd and 23rd.

Applicants are domestic residents born between 2007 and 2014, regardless of gender or nationality. Applicants should choose one area in which they are most confident among singing, rapping, dancing, and visuals.



Auditions will be conducted through pre-registration and on-site registration. Pre-registration is available through the YG Audition website until 12 PM on the Monday of the audition week in each region, and on-site registration is available until 4 PM on the day of the audition at a pre-announced location.



YG Entertainment has led the global K-pop market by producing world-class artists such as BIGBANG, 2NE1, BLACKPINK, WINNER, iKON, TREASURE, and Baby Monster, who recently proved their presence as a 'monster rookie' with their first full-length album 'DRIP'.



The talents selected through this audition will have the opportunity to grow into the next-generation K-pop leaders together with YG experts who are leading the innovation of the music industry and creating new trends. YG said, "We are waiting for K-pop gems with new possibilities and potential" and "We will cheer on the passion and challenges of all applicants."
