[Today's Comeback] 'Mystic Rookie' Ark, 'nu kidz' to lead new trend

The group ARRC announces the birth of 'nu kidz', who will lead the new trend in the music industry in 2025.



ARRC (Andy, Choi Han, Doha, Hyunmin, Jibin, Kien, Rioto) will release their 2nd mini-album 'nu kidz: out the box' through various music sites at 6 PM on the 18th.

The title song 'nu kidz' is a triton pop genre that reinterprets sounds inspired by the hip-hop scene in the early 2000s. The organic nature of the synthesizer and beats, elaborately placed in each section, creates a sound texture that is unfamiliar in the K-pop scene, leaving an impression on ARRC's sophisticated musical style. The music



video released with the sound source contains the figures of the seven members who boldly break the established rules, but do not forget their serious attitude toward life. Ark expresses the energy of 'nu kidz' who pioneer the world in their own way without being bound by age or nationality and is not afraid of failure, forming a connection with listeners around the world.



In addition, the second mini album includes 'loop.dll' which experimentally depicts the confusion created by algorithms; 'accident ~ at the studio' which expresses the excitement of love that comes like an unexpected accident by combining the neo soul and R&B genres; 'alien in Seoul' which depicts the feelings of a stranger living in Seoul and goes beyond the existing K-POP style R&B tracks; and 'connected' which focuses on relationships that transcend time and space and expresses Ark's musical vision, for a total of 5 high-quality tracks.



In particular, Ark breaks the existing 'frame' through 'nu kidz: out the box' and connects with the world in their own way. Also, Ark is expected to lead the new trend in the music industry by delivering Ark's signature lively message based on a unique hip-hop sound. While breaking down genre boundaries based on freedom and individuality and further solidifying Ark's musical identity, the members are heralding the emergence of a '5th generation New Kids' with outstanding skills.
