P1Harmony, 'Record Store Day' K-Pop Artist of the Year

The group P1Harmony (Kyo, Theo, Jiwoong, Intak, Soul, Jongseop) has once again shown their global presence.



P1Harmony has been selected as the Korean ambassador for the global music event 'RECORD STORE DAY', which will be held on April 12th and 13th, and in the 'K-pop Artist of the Year' category, becoming only the second K-pop artist to be so named, demonstrating their global status.

'Record Store Day', which started in the United States in 2008, is an event held every year around the world to promote the development of independent music stores. Many record labels and artists are participating in the event and supporting the cause, such as selling limited edition albums of famous artists such as Elton John, Metallica, Taylor Swift, and Lady GaGa. To



commemorate the event, P1Harmony, the ambassador for 'Record Store Day' and selected as K-pop Artist of the Year, will release 'SAD SONG' P VER. vinyl (LP) including unreleased songs. In particular, the vinyl, which will be produced in a limited edition of 4,000 copies, will be released and distributed through hello82, a label partner in the United States, and will only be available at record stores participating in 'Record Store Day', which is expected to arouse even more desire to own it.



P1Harmony's 7th mini album 'SAD SONG', released last year, entered the US Billboard main chart, 'Billboard 200', at its highest ranking of 16th, and set a long-term box office record by staying on Billboard's main chart for 5 consecutive weeks. Also, they were named on Billboard's 'The 25 Best K-Pop Albums of 2024: Staff Picks' and were selected as 'Favorite Team Dynamic' in music media outlet Consequence's 'The 2024 K-pop Yearbook', further solidifying their position in the global music market.



Furthermore, P1Harmony recently completed their second world tour, 'P1Harmony LIVE TOUR 'P1ustage H: UTOP1A', entering an arena-level concert hall for the first time, showing remarkable growth in both scale and skill.
