'Show Me', 'Shusuke', 'Swoopa' legends gathered together... Mnet's Lunar New Year special 'Legendary Stage' departure

Mnet will present the 'Legendary Stage' of its representative programs selected as 'Visionary Selections' to commemorate CJ ENM's 30th anniversary as a special program for the Lunar New Year.



This special program will air every day at noon for four days from January 27th to 30th, and will shed new light on the best moments of Mnet's representative programs that wrote a new history for K-POP and popular culture.

First, on January 27th, 'Show Me the Money Legendary Stage', which started a hip-hop craze in Korea as the first and longest-running hip-hop survival program in Korea, will air. It will summarize the highlight scenes and stages of all 11 seasons of 'Show Me the Money', which led the non-mainstream 'hip-hop' to a trend and brought it to the center of popular culture. It contains various famous scenes, from the preliminary rounds where talented rappers and unique contestants participated, to the sharp judging by producers, and even stages that swept the music charts.



Then, on the 28th, the 'MAMA AWARDS Legendary Stage', which has established itself as a global music awards ceremony by making K-POP known to the world, will be held. This is a chance to rewatch the highlight videos of the past grand prize winners of 'MAMA WARDS', which has evolved with an unprecedented scale and stage, expanding beyond Korea to Asia and even to the United States, the home of pop, and the collaboration stages of top K-POP artists.



On January 29th, the 'Street Woman Fighter Legendary Stage', which caused a K-dance syndrome with an unprecedented format, will be broadcast. From Season 1 in 2021 to Season 2 in 2023, you can see all at once the spicy class missions that have made the entire nation suffer from 'Swoopa' with enormous buzz every season, the mega crew missions with overwhelming scale, the K-POP choreography battle, and the final stage that best expresses the crew's color.



On the last day, the 30th, 'Superstar K Legendary Stage', which opened a new horizon for national audition programs, will be broadcast. It has gathered the most talked-about moments, such as contestants who garnered attention from the preliminaries from 'Superstar K' season 1 in 2009 to season 8 in 2016, a super luxurious lineup of judges regardless of genre, a stage that was a rediscovery of forgotten masterpieces, and moving performances by past winners.

YG Entertainment is embarking on a large-scale nationwide audition tour to discover the next generation of talent who will lead the future of K-pop.
