JYP Entertainment's (hereafter JYP) next-generation boy group KickFlip will be having their first music show promotions since their debut on the 23rd and will shine as a 'K-pop super rookie'.
KickFlip made their music industry debut on January 20th with their first mini-album 'Flip it, Kick it!' As soon as they debuted, they topped the daily album charts of Hanteo Chart and Circle Chart for the day of the 20th, brilliantly announcing the birth of a 'K-pop super rookie'. In particular, they recorded 243,949 album sales on the 20th according to Hanteo Chart, and the title song 'Mama Said (What are you trying to become?)' (마마 사드) proved their clear global momentum by topping the Korean chart of Chinese music platform Kugou Music on the 21st. The debut song music video is also gaining popularity, surpassing 10 million views on YouTube as of the morning of the 23rd.

Starting with Mnet's 'M Countdown' on the 23rd, Kye-hoon, Amaru, Dong-hwa, Joo-wang, Min-je, K-ju, and Dong-hyun will appear on KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank' on the 24th, MBC's 'Show! Music Core' on the 25th, and SBS's 'Inkigayo' on the 26th to further increase the hearts of fans in Korea and abroad. They will show the best performance that continues the JYP lineage with the title song 'Mama Said (What Are You Trying to Become?)' stage and continue their exciting first music show activities since their debut. At the debut commemorative press showcase held on the 20th, the members chose the music show schedule as the activity they are most looking forward to, so they plan to show off their 'next-generation stage craftsmen' side.
JYP artists have come out in support of their junior Kickflip's debut with the 'Mama Said Challenge'. Through Kickflip's official SNS channel, a challenge that JYP's representative producer JY Park, Twice's Mina, ITZY's Yezi and Lia, NMIXX's Haewon and BAE did with the members of Kickflip was revealed, grabbing attention. Kickflip
's debut song "Mama Said (What are you trying to become?)" was written by Amaru, and humorously expresses the message, "I don't care about obvious nagging and I'll go my own way." The lyrics, which cheerfully, refreshingly, and delightfully take on unpleasant nagging, convey a cool sense of liberation to the listeners. Meanwhile, Kickflip completed
their group name with a difficult technical term for spinning the board 360 degrees with the tip of their feet. The seven members, Gye-hun, Amaru, Dong-hwa, Joo-wang, Min-je, K-ju, and Dong-hyun, embark on a new activity by spinning the board once and moving forward.
