"Wakateitemo The Shapes of Love" topped the ABEMA drama rankings. It also topped Netflix Japan's TOP 10 TVs (December 9-15) as soon as it was released, and settled in at number 10 on the Global TOP 10 TVs (non-English category).

On the world's largest rating site IMDb, various reviews have been posted, such as "A work that shows attractive actors and poetic development" and "I hope you also watch the Korean original that actively reflects trends", drawing attention even though it is still early in its release.

This remake adds unique sensibility and charm with its Japanese background, and actor Ryusei Yokohama plays the lead role. Director Ryutaro Nakagawa's delicate directing has heightened the level of perfection. The Japanese version, consisting of a total of 8 episodes, is expected to discover a different charm from the original with new developments and unique Japanese sentiments in the remaining episodes.

Park Jun-seo, head of the production division at SLL, said, "If this year was a year of discovering new projects and releasing remakes, laying the foundation in the Japanese content market, next year will be a year of attempting even more diverse collaborations based on our strengthened cooperative network and the production capabilities of both Korea and Japan."
