The casting was a problem, but T.O.P.'s acting skills were also criticized. However, Director Hwang Dong-hyuk showed his strong faith in T.O.P. So 'Squid Game 2' is his comeback project after a long hiatus."
He continued, "Furthermore, he plays a rapper and a drug user, so in some ways, I think it took a lot of courage for him to play the character. Foreign media's response to T.O.P is also different from that in Korea. The Hollywood Reporter in the US said Thanos was "unpredictable and vibrant," and the BBC in the UK praised T.O.P's performance, saying he "exhilarated the portrayal of a drug-addicted rapper."
