They won the Excellence Award for their Japanese debut single title song 'Supernatural'. They were the only foreign artist to receive the award.
Prior to this, the members of New Jeans posted a photo of themselves wearing black ribbons on their personal account 'Jeans Popuri' to commemorate the victims of the Jeju Air disaster.
Adore announced on their official SNS, "We pray for the souls of those who lost their lives in this passenger plane disaster to rest in peace, and we offer our sincere condolences to their bereaved families who are in deep sorrow." They added, "New Jeans will attend the Japan Record Awards and Countdown Japan 24/25 stage as scheduled." They continued, "After comprehensively considering the impact this would have on the organizers, we had no choice but to go ahead with this schedule, and it is with a heavy heart that we are having to proceed with our activities at this time. We ask for your generous understanding."
