Golden Child and Rocket Punch, Disbandment Procedures… Exclusive Contracts with Woollim End in Large Numbers (Full Text)

The groups Golden Child and Rocket Punch are going through disbandment procedures.



Woollim Entertainment recently announced through an official press release, "The exclusive contracts of Lee Dae-yeol, Y, Bae Seung-min, Bong Jae-hyun, and Kim Dong-hyun will end on December 31st," and "We have had a long and in-depth discussion with the members of Golden Child about each individual's future and direction of activities, and after sufficient conversation, we have agreed to terminate the exclusive contracts."

Golden Child debuted in 2017 and has been active since. They were reorganized as a seven-member group in August when Tag, Kim Ji-beom, and Choi Bo-min withdrew, but with the news of the termination of the exclusive contracts of five members, they have effectively disbanded.



The only Golden Child members remaining at Woollim Entertainment are Lee Jang-jun and Hong Joo-chan.

In addition, with the exclusive contracts of



Yeonhee, Yunkyoung, Sohee, and Dahyun of Rocket Punch expiring, the team has also entered the path of disbandment. Woollim Entertainment stated, "The exclusive contracts of Yeonhee, Yunkyoung, Sohee, and Dahyun will end on December 31st," and added, "We would like to express our gratitude to Yeonhee, Yunkyoung, Sohee, and Dahyun for being with us as our artists, and we will sincerely cheer them on in the future."
